And Istanbul has a population of 23 million people. Lisbon has only 580.000. You second topic is quite interesting as well, and off course you are right. I also have to say that I don't mind it so much that it happened. But in Holland most likely I would have been pist off like hell! They were Roman gipsies who stole it, and wether you like them or not.. There are few people on this planet who live a tougher life than they do! These are different perspectives from both sides, obviously :) And I can understand both of them. When you travel more and more I think you start seeing things from different perspectives, which in my opinion is very important. it's probably the reason I'm not so pist off as well:) How's life btw man!? It's like you said: you think you never fall for shit like this, but at the most unsuspecting moment it just happens in the most straight forward way. The trick that makes you think "How could I be so stupid?! Ofcourse they wanted to steal it!". All I got to say is, I hope this doesn't influence your behaviour against strangers, ofcourse there are still people that actively use scams like this, but the last thing we need in this world is more people acting like everyone's out there to get them or their belongings. Which brings up another topic, is your capital the most important thing to you? Is your life over if you lose your phone, laptop and even all your money? I think you know the answer: no. In the end you will know that all you need is yourself and trust in both yourself and mankind. Believe in yourself and everyone else, cherish every moment in life and love your friends. A good way to summarize just that is a saying, I can't remember from who: "Smile, and the world smiles with you" :) It’s a shame things like this still need to happen.
